On Tuesday, Bush signed into law the Military Commissions Act of 2006 – and baby Jesus cried. So basically, if the Bush administration declares you an enemy combatant – you have the right to squat. I am still awed that this kind of thing is allowed to happen – we are not dealing with just one bad apple, but a rotten bushel.
