Chertoff – the homeland security monkey – is calling for wider surveilance of US citizens. Link.
The nation’s chief of homeland security said Sunday that the U.S. should consider reviewing its laws to allow for more electronic surveillance and detention of possible terror suspects, citing last week’s foiled plot.
In other Chertoff antics – in an interview on NPR he says:
“Clearly at the end of the day, we’ve got to eliminate that pool of people who are susceptible to becoming killers.”
Perhaps the best way to do that would be to stop pissing them off – but killing them could work too. Link.
